Haul Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely load and off-load heavy equipment
• Properly secure loads using ratchet straps, chains, binders, and winch
• Maintain daily records of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Legibly complete equipment inspection reports upon delivery and pickup
• Coordinate with dispatchers and customers to verify delivery and pickup locations
• Utilize safe driving techniques and effective time management

Requirements

• Class A CDL and valid Medical Card
• Certification in Aerial and Forklift handling/operation
• Full DOT knowledge regarding hours of service and ELOG
• Clean driving record and ability to be insured
• Ability to lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs
• Ability to work in hot or cold environments and maneuver around heavy equipment
• Ability to maintain and service haul truck and trailer
