Harvest and Haulage Lead Operator

Responsibilities

• Lead daily harvest and haulage operations to meet production targets
• Supervise and support farm operators and contractors
• Operate harvesting machinery and transport leaf to the distillery
• Support distillation activities and production reporting
• Maintain equipment, plant, and farm infrastructure
• Run toolbox talks and safety meetings to ensure OH&S compliance
• Coordinate with contractors, graziers, and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Background in agriculture, horticulture, or forestry operations
• Experience operating farm or harvesting machinery
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance
• Proven ability to lead small teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a rural environment
• Current Victorian driver’s licence
