Reliable Robotics is building safety-enhancing technology for aviation to enable a future where air transportation is safer and more transformative. Our team consists of mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace, robotics, and self-driving cars.
Responsibilities
- Define harnessing design including routing, component selection, and manufacturing processes
- Perform detailed design of both flight and test harnesses
- Work with production technicians and A&Ps to build and install harnesses on aircraft
- Design, install, and test hardware on remotely operated aircraft
- Collaborate with avionics, mechanical, and integration teams
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 2+ years of experience in electrical harness design
- Ability to route harnessing in CAD and physically within an aircraft
- Experience with connectors, backshells, EMI shielding, and cable/wire protection methods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience defining routing and bulkhead requirements
- Experience with NX routing and Capital Harness Designer
- Experience with aerospace flight harness design trades
- Experience working with safety-critical hardware
- Experience on certification-path aviation development projects
- Experience testing hardware to DO-160 requirements
