Hardware/Software Co-Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver micro-architecture and RTL implementation of digital IPs and systems
• Design low-power DSPs, hardware accelerators, GPUs, and radio/serial link MAC/PHY
• Optimize hardware/software interfaces with firmware engineers
• Perform complex system modeling for energy and performance benchmarks
• Conduct workload analysis, energy/performance profiling, and analysis
• Collaborate on silicon bring-up tests with verification engineers

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience designing and implementing embedded software in C or Rust
• Expertise in SystemVerilog, C/C++, and Python
• Experience designing emulation models, transactors, and test environments
• Experience working on complex digital systems from architecture to RTL
• Experience designing digital signal processing pipelines from algorithm to RTL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in architecture optimization with process technology customization
• Experience in verification and physical design of complex digital systems
• Experience testing and debugging digital SoCs
• Functional modeling experience with SystemVerilog or SystemC/C++
• Experience in processor instruction set architecture design
• Experience in compiler back-end design and customization
