About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive validation test plans and Validation Test Procedures (VTPs) for hardware products
  • Lead and oversee the execution of all validation tests, including Firmware/Software, Mechanical, Environmental, and Electrical testing
  • Incorporate statistical analysis into validation testing to ensure data accuracy and repeatability
  • Support Failure Analysis (FA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for issues identified during testing
  • Document, track, and report test status and results following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain
  • Work with external labs to coordinate required testing and implement 5S standards for lab management
  • Develop customer usage models to guide product evaluation and requirement reviews

Requirements

  • MS or BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Reliability, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in validation or qualification testing
  • Hands-on experience with Mechanical and Environmental testing
  • Proficiency with industry test standards such as MIL-STD, ISO, or IEC
  • Experience with test automation and basic code scripting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with bug/test tracking suites like JIRA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification
  • Project Management skill set or PMP certification
  • Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes
