Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the design, build, and maintenance of electrical test stands for development, production, and qualification testing
- Automate repetitive aspects of the test stands
- Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports
- Work closely with design and flight test engineers to improve flight hardware
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
- 1+ year of industry experience testing hardware
- Experience with ECAD tools (Altium) or MCAD tools (NX)
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB
- Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with sensor integration and debugging equipment
- Ability to methodically diagnose and solve hardware problems
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in aerospace hardware test planning
- Experience working on or around aircraft
- Knowledge of aerospace standards (MIL-STD-810, RTCA DO-160)
- Familiarity with test instrumentation (NI DAQ, UEI DAQ, LabJack)
- Proficiency in building machine parts or cable assemblies
