Hardware Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and run package-level test including socket-based bring-up and validation
• Execute board-level testing including functional, structural, and in-circuit validation
• Build out system-level test flows including functional, stress, and burn-in
• Design and validate test hardware such as sockets, connectors, and load boards
• Drive test coverage, yield analysis, and test-time reduction
• Lead new-product test bring-up and resolve hardware failures via root cause analysis
• Define test specs, limits, and guardbands with cross-functional engineering teams
• Transfer and sustain test programs at OSAT/CM and manufacturing partners

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years in package, board, or system-level hardware test engineering
• Hands-on experience with package and board test hardware (sockets, connectors, load boards)
• Proficiency with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal instrumentation
• Strong data analysis and statistical skills for yield and characterization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with High-speed I/O, SerDes, DDR/HBM, or RF
• Knowledge of structural test and boundary scan
• Scripting and automation skills in Python or C++
• Experience with system burn-in and reliability testing
• OSAT/CM partner management experience
