Hardware Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and audit project-specific end-of-line production test protocols for ECUs
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and manufacturing plants to optimize product quality and reduce fallout rates
• Develop and maintain test specifications, validation lists, and technical customer documentation
• Identify necessary production testing methods to fulfill customer and internal requirements
• Perform root cause failure analysis and support quality claim resolution
• Act as the technical interface between product engineering and manufacturing plants
• Monitor and improve test protocols and verification processes based on KPIs such as FPY and OTD

Requirements

• Technical expertise in setting up ECU diagnosis and using standard ECU test equipment
• Proficiency in Engineering Requirements Management and test coverage analysis
• Strong skills in root cause failure analysis and electronic circuit interpretation
• Working knowledge of communication protocols including CAN and LIN
• Understanding of functional safety and cyber security principles
• Experience with various diagnostic tools
• Strong soft skills including intercultural competency, conflict management, and an entrepreneurial mindset
