Hardware Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive validation efforts including electrical, mechanical, and reliability testing
• Design and build tests by designing mechanical fixtures and PCBAs
• Source power supplies, sensors, and other test equipment
• Automate test equipment, environmental chambers, and DAQ systems
• Lead root cause and failure analysis on hardware issues
• Automate data analysis and anomaly detection for large datasets
• Distill complex technical results into high-signal reports for design decisions

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in test engineering of electromechanical products with embedded firmware
• Background in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency with Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems, sensor selection, and signal conditioning
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or LabVIEW for instrument control and data analysis
• Proven track record of designing tests for mechanical, electrical, and reliability performance
• High standards for technical documentation and reporting
