About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end hardware program execution from requirements through design, validation, NPI, and ramp
  • Lead cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, firmware, industrial design, test, and manufacturing engineering
  • Plan and manage prototype and production builds, including materials, logistics, and factory readiness
  • Oversee board and flex releases, system integration, and validation testing (DVT/PVT/MP builds)
  • Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to drive DFM/DFT reviews, yield improvement, and issue resolution
  • Maintain clear build plans, risk registers, and program dashboards
  • Serve as the primary interface between engineering teams and external manufacturing partners
  • Provide transparent updates to stakeholders and leadership regarding status, risks, and key decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware program management, hardware engineering, or manufacturing operations
  • Proven success driving NPI builds and scaling hardware programs to volume production
  • Strong understanding of box-level assemblies including PCBs, flex circuits, harnessing, enclosures, and thermal systems
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environments
  • Willingness to travel to sites, suppliers, and contract manufacturers as needed
