Hardware Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Create technical execution roadmaps across engineering teams to tie features and their dependencies to time
• Manage and optimize development and integration efforts for the current hardware platform
• Manage build progress to meet program objectives, defining schedules, milestones, and resource allocation
• Work closely with Hardware, Software, systems, and operations teams to ensure cross-functional delivery
• Prioritize and manage issues, risks, and dependencies to resolve barriers
• Support decision making by communicating risks and tradeoffs to stakeholders
• Develop tools and processes to improve manufacturing productivity
• Maintain technical understanding of autonomous vehicle platforms, hardware lifecycle, and test operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of Technical Program Management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a similar technical field
• Experience managing fast-paced initiatives with multiple stakeholders and complex schedules
• Experience in the automotive or trucking industry
• Experience in a startup environment managing hardware projects towards manufacturing at scale
• Expertise in project management tools such as Linear, JIRA, Smartsheet, or LucidChart
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
