Hardware Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power electronics hardware for On-Board Chargers (OBC), Battery Management Systems (BMS), and HV DC-DC converters.
• Focus on discrete and analog circuit design, ensuring compliance with EMC standards and cost-optimized BoMs.
• Develop, simulate, and validate electronic circuits, including the creation of schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Collaborate with PCB designers using CADENCE Allegro.
• Define hardware requirements with customers and stakeholders while monitoring development activities in line with project goals.
• Manage internal and external development resources and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Prepare hardware specifications and optimize modules for system integration, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Plan and conduct hardware reviews, validation tests, and root cause analysis for field or production issues.
• Maintain technical documentation including BoMs, FMEAs, test specifications, and release reports.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Industrial Electronics.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in automotive product development.
• Proven experience in power electronics design (OBC, BMS, HV DC-DC).
• Strong team mentoring and leadership skills to guide junior engineers and interns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience specifically with EV application power electronics.
• Deep exposure to EMC design practices and cost optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in German language skills.
• Strong understanding of system integration and cross-functional coordination.
