Hardware Systems Performance Architect

Responsibilities

• Drive collaboration between hardware architecture, design, and software teams to create characterization plans
• Factor high-level functional and performance requirements into sub-systems and evolve them into future architecture
• Lead design, integration, and automation for characterization on prototypes, bench-top mock-ups, and HIL infrastructure
• Orchestrate end-to-end development of systems and automation for performance characterization and data acquisition
• Execute characterization plans and present validation metrics to support data-driven architectural decisions
• Contribute to mock-ups or prototypes to study next-gen technologies and establish proofs-of-concept
• Lead development of hardware and software for wireless sub-system testing using robotic automation

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in relevant practical settings
• Deep familiarity with wireless automotive technologies (WiFi, BT, BLE, LTE, 5G, NFC, UWB)
• Experience with CCC or MFi keyless entry systems
• Experience designing or validating embedded systems in distributed architectures
• Strong foundation in RF and electrical engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency with test equipment like logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
• Hands-on coding experience in embedded platform bring-up, system software, or test automation
• Proficiency in Python or MatLab for data modeling and analysis
