About the role

Responsibilities

  • Participate in inventory and asset management, including the receipt and disposition of hardware
  • Document all defects found in pre-mass production hardware and software
  • Perform hardware reworks such as swapping boards/chips and removing write-protect screws
  • Execute software reworks including imaging devices, wiping data, and rewriting system hardware IDs
  • Conduct servo flashing, firmware upgrades, and flashing of unsigned images
  • Resolve support tickets related to device issues
  • Provide technical support during events, which may require travel

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with 2 to 5 years of related experience or training
  • IT savvy with a strong interest in new technologies
  • Knowledge of inventory management and comfort working in an IT inventory environment
  • Ability to follow complex technical instructions for flashing drives and imaging devices
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
