Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Primary Quality Engineer on assigned programs
• Complete End Item Data Packages (EIDP) with minor oversight
• Review Statements of Work (SOW), generate Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and complete Required Verification Methods (RVM)
• Manage Material Review Boards (MRBs) and support root cause analysis
• Execute containment measures and propose corrective action plans for CARs
• Support formal testing, Customer Source Inspections (CSIs), and Quality Evaluation Verifications (QEVs)
• Support audits and customer meetings
• Hold programs accountable for lab cleanliness and quality metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Physics, etc.)
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Familiarity with Quality Systems such as AS9100
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer)
• Quality audit experience
• Aerospace or defense industry experience
• Working knowledge of GD&T
• Experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering drawings
