Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Quality Engineer for assigned programs
• Complete End Item Data Packages (EIDP) and generate Quality Assurance Plans (QAP)
• Manage Material Review Boards (MRB) and support root cause analysis
• Execute containment measures and propose corrective action plans for Corrective Action Requests (CARs)
• Support formal testing, Customer Source Inspections (CSIs), and Quality Evaluation Verifications (QEVs)
• Coordinate with functional groups and customer counterparts via customer portals
• Hold programs accountable for lab cleanliness and quality metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Physics, etc.)
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Familiarity with Quality Systems such as AS9100
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Understanding of engineering drawings
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer)
• Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry
• Quality audit experience
• Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Experience with environmental testing of electronic assemblies
• Experience contributing to Continuous Improvement initiatives
