Responsibilities

  • Shape how products work and feel through complex interaction systems
  • Design multi-modal experiences involving buttons, screens, sound, voice, apps, light, motion, and haptics
  • Imagine, research, conceive, specify, and pitch new features, systems, or whole product concepts
  • Bridge the gap between hardware, software, and the connective tissue between them
  • Collaborate across disciplines including Industrial Design, Engineering, and AI

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience designing complex interaction systems that straddle both hardware and software
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, industrial design, or a related discipline
  • Experience in multi-modal thinking (haptics, sound, motion, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both artists and engineers
  • Strong skills in observation, critical thought, and original idea generation
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an intuitive flair for user-centered design
