Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated hardware components for IoT devices, including RF design and DSP Algorithms
• Create detailed PCB layouts and prototypes ensuring compliance with FCC and UL standards
• Select appropriate components balancing technical requirements with supply chain considerations
• Collaborate with firmware teams for seamless hardware-software integration
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hardware components
• Work closely with software engineers and product managers to maintain documentation
• Research latest trends in IoT and pet wellness technology

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in hardware design and PCB layout
• Proficiency in PCB design software such as KiCAD, Altium Designer, or Eagle
• Experience in IoT device development
• Familiarity with ARM and ESP32 microcontroller-based systems and sensor integration
• Understanding of electronic product compliance and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with wireless communication technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRA, or ZigBee
• Device Driver Programming experience
• Familiarity with firmware programming
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
