About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
- Support hardware testing and validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the development of advanced aerospace hardware systems to improve safety and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical STEM discipline from an accredited institution.
- 1-3 years of experience in hardware design and development.
- Basic knowledge of hardware design principles, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools.
- Familiarity with hardware testing and validation processes.
- Experience with hardware integration and troubleshooting in embedded systems.
- Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status) due to export control laws.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience or internship specifically in aerospace hardware design projects.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for aerospace hardware development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
