Hardware Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
• Support hardware testing and validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability.
• Contribute to the development of advanced aerospace hardware systems to improve safety and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical STEM discipline from an accredited institution.
• 1-3 years of experience in hardware design and development.
• Basic knowledge of hardware design principles, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools.
• Familiarity with hardware testing and validation processes.
• Experience with hardware integration and troubleshooting in embedded systems.
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status) due to export control laws.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience or internship specifically in aerospace hardware design projects.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for aerospace hardware development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
