Responsibilities
- Collaborate with full-time mentors on real-world hardware engineering projects
- Use Hardcaml (an OCaml library) for describing hardware in RTL
- Build hardware applications from concept to a working design
- Perform RTL design, testing, and integration using OCaml and Hardcaml
- Work on both FPGA and ASIC designs depending on project scope
Requirements
- Comfort with a software programming language
- Experience with Hardware Description or Construction languages (VHDL, Verilog, Chisel, Pymtl, etc.)
- Experience with FPGA or ASIC vendor tools (Vivado, Quartus, Genus, or Innovus)
- Experience building a working hardware project (FPGA or ASIC) through academic, professional, or personal work
- Interest in using FPGAs or ASICs in the context of networking
