About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on design expertise for complex automotive electronic systems
  • Design electrical functionality including specifications, component selection, and circuit design
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design convergence
  • Generate and approve engineering documentation across all design phases
  • Lead hardware design verification planning, execution, and technical reporting
  • Develop and maintain DFMEA documentation and perform circuit simulations
  • Develop engineering test fixtures to evaluate product functionality and performance
  • Support production site activities, including failure analysis and design improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of board level design engineering experience within the automotive industry
  • Extensive experience designing complex electrical systems incorporating power, analog, and digital domains
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed digital design, SI/PI best practices, and EMI/EMC principles
  • Proficiency with Cadence electrical design tools (System Capture, CIS)
  • Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as PSpice and LTspice
  • Experience performing worst-case circuit analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ADAS product development across various levels of vehicle autonomy
  • Understanding of and hands-on experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
