About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on design expertise for complex automotive electronic systems
- Design electrical functionality including specifications, component selection, and circuit design
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design convergence
- Generate and approve engineering documentation across all design phases
- Lead hardware design verification planning, execution, and technical reporting
- Develop and maintain DFMEA documentation and perform circuit simulations
- Develop engineering test fixtures to evaluate product functionality and performance
- Support production site activities, including failure analysis and design improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of board level design engineering experience within the automotive industry
- Extensive experience designing complex electrical systems incorporating power, analog, and digital domains
- Strong knowledge of high-speed digital design, SI/PI best practices, and EMI/EMC principles
- Proficiency with Cadence electrical design tools (System Capture, CIS)
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as PSpice and LTspice
- Experience performing worst-case circuit analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ADAS product development across various levels of vehicle autonomy
- Understanding of and hands-on experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
