Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-performance hardware systems, including schematic capture and driving complex PCB layouts with a focus on signal integrity.
• Lead hardware validation and qualification by defining and automating test plans for sub-systems such as CPU, DDR memory, PCIe, and Ethernet.
• Act as the hardware technical lead for product introduction, collaborating with Operations, Manufacturing Test, and JDM partners to transition systems to mass production.
• Perform in-depth failure and root cause analysis during system hardening and support high-priority customer escalations to improve reliability.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in x86 architecture and interfaces, including electrical, signal integrity, protocol, and functional level qualification.
• Proven experience in high-speed hardware design, schematic capture, and driving complex PCB layouts.
• Hands-on experience using high-speed oscilloscopes and bus analyzers for debugging and analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and BASH for test automation and system-level qualification.
• Experience implementing hardware qualification and stress tests (e.g., PTU, Mprime, IOmeter) for enterprise-grade systems.
