Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microcontroller boards and associated peripheral circuits
• Execute analog and digital circuit design, including board-level power supplies (Buck, Boost, LDO, Flyback)
• Design motor control circuits for BDC, BLDC, and servo motor drivers
• Manage component selection, BOM preparation, thermal calculations, and spice simulations
• Perform EMI/EMC compliant design and prepare layout guidelines
• Conduct board bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting using equipment like DSO, signal generators, and thermal imagers
• Prepare technical documentation including HDD, test plans, and test reports

Requirements

• BE/B-Tech/ME/MTech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering
• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering
• Proficiency in CAD packages such as Altium, ORCAD, or Mentor Graphics for schematic capture and PCB layout
• Strong knowledge of communication interfaces including SPI, RS485, USB, Ethernet, and PROFINET
• Experience in system-level testing and validation of electronic products
• Strong analytical, logical, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electronic product development for consumer or industrial applications
• Knowledge of DRBFM and FMEA methodologies
