Hardware Electronics Specialist FPGA/ASIC

Responsibilities

• Act as a hardware electronics specialist on various client projects or ALTEN-led result-oriented projects
• Provide technical expertise during pre-sales phases, including needs analysis and technical response development
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of the Electronics expertise development strategy
• Participate in major external events such as trade shows, conferences, and professional associations
• Develop strategic partnerships within the field
• Animate the Electronics consultant community through knowledge sharing and mentoring
• Contribute to the technical qualification of candidates during recruitment processes

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree in electronics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware design and embedded software development
• Expertise in high-performance digital circuit design (FPGA, ASIC, Microcontrollers, RFIC, MMIC)
• Experience with driver development and software integration for testing
• Proficiency in electronic board design using Altium, Cadence, Caneco, or Kicad
• Knowledge of VHDL and/or Verilog
• Experience in integration, verification, and validation of electronic equipment
• Proficiency in English (written and oral)
• Ability to travel for professional meetings and events

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of aerospace/defense development standards (DO-254, DO-160, DO-178C, MIL-STD)
• Experience in technical training, coaching, or mentoring
• Implementation of communication protocols (I2C, CAN, PCI, etc.)
