About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, correct, and troubleshoot equipment problems and malfunctions
- Calibrate, align, and test controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables
- Perform preventative maintenance activities and document failure analysis
- Specify, requisition, and install necessary parts and equipment
- Coordinate maintenance spare parts and collect equipment operation data to improve reliability
- Assist in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance tasks
- Work within established Maintenance Work Processes to resolve planning and scheduling issues
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a Chemical, Oil and Gas, or Manufacturing environment
- Valid US driver's license
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55 lbs
- Ability to work in tight/closed spaces, at heights, and on ladders/scaffolding
- Ability to work full shifts, including overtime and holidays as required
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve process deviations
- Effective communication skills to act as a resource for other technicians and operators
- High attention to detail for identifying maintenance needs and issuing Safe Work Permits
- Proven time management and ability to prioritize tasks in an empowered team environment
