Hardware Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Receive requirements and coordinate with other departments to provide solutions
• Design project solution diagrams
• Select components and design product schematics
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers to design board profiles and layouts
• Create manufacturing files, BOMs, and manage component procurement and stock
• Solder, test, and design boards
• Evaluate quality and provide reports
• Prepare documentation and hand over products
• Support other departments with electronic issues

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer
• Knowledge of electronic components, microcontrollers, and communication protocols
• Knowledge of circuit protection, noise reduction, signal integrity, and power integrity
• Knowledge of stackup, 2-6 layer PCB design, and high-speed signal layout
• Proficiency in Altium for board design
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English
• Fluency in English is an advantage
• Knowledge of Carrier board design for SoM, SoC, or mini PC is an advantage
