Hardware Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware for Body Control Modules (BCM) and Zonal Controllers (ZC)
• Focus on discrete and analog circuit design while ensuring EMC compliance and cost-optimized BoMs
• Develop, simulate, and validate electronic circuits, including schematics and circuit diagrams
• Collaborate closely with PCB designers using CADENCE Allegro
• Define hardware requirements with customers and stakeholders
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor hardware development activities in line with defined methods
• Manage internal and external development resources and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Prepare hardware specifications considering technical, production, and logistical requirements
• Conduct hardware reviews, validation tests, and root cause analysis for field or production issues
• Maintain technical documentation including BoMs, FMEAs, and test specifications

Requirements

• BE, B.Tech, ME, or M.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Industrial Electronics
• 4-8 years of experience in the automotive product development industry
• Proven expertise in discrete and analog circuit design
• Strong knowledge of EMC compliance standards
• Proficiency with CADENCE Allegro
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the German language
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers and interns
