Hardware Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware for Body Control Modules (BCM) and Zonal Controllers (ZC).
• Focus on discrete and analog circuit design while ensuring compliance with EMC standards and cost-optimized BoMs.
• Develop, simulate, and validate electronic circuits, including the creation of schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Coordinate closely with PCB designers using CADENCE Allegro.
• Define hardware requirements with customers and stakeholders and monitor development activities.
• Manage internal and external development resources and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare hardware specifications considering technical, production, and logistical requirements.
• Conduct hardware reviews, validation tests, and root cause analysis for field or production issues.
• Maintain technical documentation including BoMs, FMEAs, and test specifications.

Requirements

• BE/B. Tech/ME/M. Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Industrial Electronics.
• 4-8 years of experience in the automotive product development industry.
• Expertise in discrete and analog circuit design.
• Strong knowledge of EMC compliance.
• Proficiency with CADENCE Allegro.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers or interns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the German language.
