Hardware Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan hardware developments within the scope of product development, including requirement clarification and effort analysis.
• Define, plan, and monitor hardware development tasks to ensure integration into the overall system.
• Develop, customize, and optimize hardware modules while adhering to quality, logistics, and production requirements.
• Create hardware specifications, circuit diagrams, and technical documentation such as parts lists and FMEA.
• Perform electronic circuit development and simulation in consultation with responsible authorities.
• Analyze and optimize existing hardware modules based on technical, economic, or customer specifications.
• Coordinate with internal and external sub-suppliers regarding economic and scheduling aspects.
• Process customer complaints regarding serial devices and manufacturing difficulties.

Requirements

• BE / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Industrial Electronics.
• 2-5 years of experience in the automotive product development industry.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the German language.
