Hardware Design Co-Op

Responsibilities

• Review alternate components for 2nd source qualification and component obsolescence
• Execute hardware verification plans and debug prototype hardware using lab equipment
• Use oscilloscopes, logic/network analyzers, and protocol/signal generators for testing
• Debug and support hardware investigations related to field issues
• Modify circuit packs to enable testing or to resolve issues uncovered during testing

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program or equivalent
• Familiarity with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Understanding of high speed signaling and transmission lines
• Understanding of digital and analog design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and debugging hardware
• Experience with PCB schematic capture and layout tools
