About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, simulate, implement, and test internally developed software defined radio hardware
  • Bringup and debug hardware in the lab using high-end instruments and equipment
  • Write code to evaluate performance and automate the testing of satellite hardware
  • Integrate hardware systems into the spacecraft by collaborating with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test PCBA hardware from scratch (e.g., student projects or competitions)
  • Strong foundation in one or more of the following: analog design, digital design, mixed signal design, or RF design
  • U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required due to export regulations
  • A passion for hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building or using software defined radios
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer or other PCB design software
  • Experience with analysis software such as ADS, ANSYS, or Matlab
  • Programming experience with Python or similar languages
  • Hands-on experience with soldering, rework, and EE lab bench equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
