Hardware Asset Management Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise Hardware Asset Management (HAM) capabilities on the ServiceNow platform.
• Enforce global HAM strategy, operating models, standards, and roadmaps to ensure accurate data for physical and virtual assets.
• Support and expand the configuration of ServiceNow HAM Pro, including data models, discovery integrations, workflows, and dashboards.
• Define and optimize end-to-end hardware lifecycle processes from procurement and deployment to maintenance and disposal.
• Ensure the quality and completeness of hardware asset data within the CMDB, integrating with discovery, procurement, and finance systems.
• Partner with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to support vulnerability management and secure asset disposition.
• Provide analytics and insights on the hardware fleet to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in IT Asset Management, with a focus on Hardware Asset Management in large, complex organizations.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing or operating ServiceNow HAM Pro at scale.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM), specifically CMDB, Discovery, Incident, Change, and Request Management.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in dashboards, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Any Graduate or Post-Graduate degree (full time).

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist – ITAM / HAM.
• Experience with related ServiceNow modules including SAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery, ITOM, or ITSM.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and privacy considerations related to hardware assets and data destruction.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries such as financial services or professional services.
