Hardware Architect (On-Board Charger & Converter)

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the foundational power electronics architecture for next-generation On-Board Chargers and DCDC-Converters
• Lead architectural reviews and complex multi-physics simulations including thermal, electrical, and magnetic analysis
• Provide expert technical counsel on long-term technology roadmaps and R&D direction
• Lead advanced developments towards future topologies, modulations, and technologies such as GaN
• Serve as the primary technical authority and strategic link between global teams and joint venture partners
• Mentor engineering teams on complex theoretical challenges and advanced simulation techniques

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power electronics (or Master's with exceptional track record)
• Extensive experience in end-to-end development of high-voltage, high-power automotive power electronics
• Proven history of product ownership for automotive On-Board Chargers and/or DC/DC converters from concept to mass production
• Mastery of simulation tools including PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, and electromagnetic design tools like Ansys, COMSOL, or CST
• Expertise in power electronics topology, magnetic component design, and control systems
• Strong understanding of EMC standards and mitigation techniques
• Business-fluent proficiency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English

• Proven innovation record through patents or publications
