Handyman/Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks
• Assemble and move furniture, equipment, and workstations
• Maintain shop organization and cleanliness
• Assist with facility improvement projects
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
• Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance issues proactively
• Support shipping, receiving, and miscellaneous operational tasks
• Help maintain a safe and professional working environment

Requirements

• Previous handyman, maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, warehouse, or industrial environments
• Forklift experience
• OSHA or safety training certifications
