About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections of building interiors and exteriors to identify maintenance needs
  • Complete general maintenance and repairs including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC work
  • Respond to service requests and ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Maintain and repair equipment, fixtures, and appliances
  • Assist with preventative maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Perform emergency and special maintenance tasks such as flood response, appliance repair, or minor renovations
  • Keep records of work completed and materials used
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Four years of journey-level experience in Carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or Mechanical assessments
  • Valid Fireguard Certifications (S95, W7, S12, S13, F03)
  • Proficiency in using manual and power tools for repairs and installations
  • Ability to perform physical activities, including lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed
