Handover & Facilities Inspector/Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Oversee the property handover process for residential and commercial units, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Conduct thorough property inspections and prepare detailed snagging reports to identify defects in MEP, finishing, and readiness.
• Lead and manage the handover team, providing training and support to ensure high performance.
• Coordinate move-in/move-out inspections and confirm unit readiness with contractors and vendors.
• Liaise with developers, property managers, and clients to facilitate smooth transitions and exceptional customer service.
• Manage documentation, including handover certificates, checklists, and work permits.
• Monitor vendor performance and AMC validity, obtaining quotations and performing comparative analyses.
• Escalate defects, access constraints, or vendor underperformance to management promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, handover processes, snagging, or facilities operations.
• Maintenance background and technical know-how, specifically regarding building defects and MEP systems.
• Proven experience in team leadership and project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and access to a car for travel to managed units within the UAE.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with facilities management or property management software (e.g., Yardi).
• Experience working directly with developers and clients in the real estate sector.
• Arabic language proficiency.
