Handbags Specialist

Responsibilities

• Source luxury bags and accessories for Auction and Buy Now Marketplace
• Provide pricing, valuation, and authentication services to clients
• Drive business-getting for Auctions in New York and across the US region
• Organize Private Sale exhibitions and drive private sale activity
• Inspect and authenticate properties within the US
• Build relationships with auction bidders, buyers, and internal relationship managers
• Analyze auction data and advise on product mix for US clientele
• Collaborate with marketing, catalogers, and coordinators to ensure smooth client experiences
• Travel regularly throughout the US

Requirements

• Proven experience managing client portfolios and driving sales
• Experience as a handbag authenticator and valuer
• Background in auction houses, ecommerce, or second-hand luxury retail
• Deep knowledge of retail and resale markets for luxury handbags and accessories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and discretion
