Hand Bindery Lead

Responsibilities

• Stage materials including covers, inserts, tabs, envelopes, and labels
• Hand-collate, gather, and assemble printed pieces in correct sequence
• Review job specs and production schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Inspect work for precision and quality, making fine-tuned adjustments
• Assist with kitting, labeling, inserting, and special assembly projects
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production deadlines
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiency

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow job tickets and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in page order
• Basic math skills for counts, batching, and verifying quantities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependability and initiative
