Hairdresser/Barber

Responsibilities

• Perform professional hair cutting, styling, and advanced coloring services for both ladies and gentlemen
• Deliver signature up-styles and flawless blow-dries for formal evening events
• Provide men's barbering, grooming, and therapeutic hair and scalp treatments
• Maximize revenue through upselling treatments and retailing premium hair products
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and punctual workstation in a high-end salon environment
• Be open to cross-training in additional beauty services such as brow shaping or lash extensions

Requirements

• Level 3 hairdressing qualification or completion of a 3-year apprenticeship
• Proven experience in both ladies' and gents' hairdressing
• Strong, fast blow-drying skills across all hair types (ability to straighten without flat irons)
• Professional color training (experience with L'Oréal or similar premium brands preferred)
• Conversational English proficiency to interact with international guests

Preferred Qualifications

• Native or fluent Japanese language skills
• Ability to work flexibly under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• High level of creativity and strong relationship-building skills
