H&S Advisor

Responsibilities

• Support the Hatfield Site Manager and O&M team in delivering safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operations
• Manage Integrated Management Systems (IMS) in accordance with ISO 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001
• Ensure COMAH compliance and oversee Process Safety Management
• Manage the Risk Register, Safe System of Work compliance, and Business Continuity Management Systems
• Oversee EA Licence, Permit, and Consent management, as well as land leases
• Develop and deliver an IMS audit plan and maintain the site Risk Assessment framework
• Lead on-site behavioural safety programmes and support accident investigations
• Advise management on best practice health, safety, and environmental management

Requirements

• Educated to a minimum HNC standard or equivalent vocational qualification
• Proven experience in a Gas or Process plant environment, preferably in operations
• NEBOSH or IEMA certification
• Strong ability to motivate and influence others to create a positive safety culture
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting to all levels of management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Valid UK Driving License
