Gymnastics Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach YMCA (YUSA) gymnastics skills and Ninja classes following assigned program plans
• Demonstrate proper techniques and ensure safe, age-appropriate use of equipment
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment through active supervision of participants
• Set up and clean gymnastics equipment before and after each class
• Track attendance and student progress, completing reports accurately and timely
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding participant development
• Follow all established safety procedures and complete incident reports promptly
• Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration and support

Requirements

• Experience working with children, preferably in gymnastics, sports, or youth programs
• Knowledge of basic gymnastics skills and safety practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
