About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate wellness education and prevention programs, including bystander intervention and social marketing.
- Cultivate a campus environment that empowers students to make healthy and responsible lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with staff and students to coordinate substance-free activities during high-risk times, such as weekends and late nights.
- Select, train, advise, and evaluate Peer Assistants to promote a culture of well-being.
- Supervise and mentor student employees for the GustieWELL program.
- Manage office and Peer Assistant budgets of approximately $75,000.
- Track, assess, and report on the impact of various programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with college-aged students in a peer leader, advisory, or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated success in educational programming and advising.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required by programming needs.
