Gunsmith

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, modify, repair, and service foreign and domestic firearms, weapons, and accessories.
• Perform field-level maintenance on US Military weapons, weapon support systems, targeting, range finding, and night vision devices.
• Conduct diagnostics, parts identification, and requisitions in accordance with technical specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, machine tools, and computer prototypes to construct or repair small arms.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings to perform repairs and fabricate special jigs or fixtures.
• Act as a primary instructor on standard and non-standard small arms weapon systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of directly related experience in gunsmithing or small arms maintenance.
• Valid work authorization for Germany.
• Fluent English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
• Physical ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted and team lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and various weather conditions.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working effectively with non-native English speakers.
• Prior professional experience working overseas.
