Gum Recovery Worker

Responsibilities

• Run the gum recovery department and perform all functions associated with the supply department
• Operate a stand-up forklift for material handling
• Maintain material accountability and support the Area Lead with supply department activities
• Communicate with line and Production Leads/Coordinators to ensure timely material replenishment
• Ensure strict adherence to quality and food safety standards
• Cross-train in other Material Handler positions as required

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Computer literacy with the ability to enter, record, and retrieve information in a data collection system
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and ability to respond quickly to needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Forklift certification
