Gully Truck Driver/Operative

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a gully truck to perform scheduled and reactive drainage maintenance
• Clean and maintain highway drainage systems, including gully pots, ACO channels, culverts, and interceptors
• Use high-pressure jetting equipment to clear blockages and ensure free-flowing drainage
• Record all completed works using handheld devices
• Support emergency response operations during adverse weather or flooding events

Requirements

• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Class 2 HGV licence
• Experience operating high-pressure jetting equipment or similar vehicles
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and the public
