About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a gully truck to perform scheduled and reactive drainage maintenance
- Clean and maintain highway drainage systems, including gully pots, ACO channels, culverts, and interceptors
- Use high-pressure jetting equipment to clear blockages and ensure free-flowing drainage
- Record all completed works using handheld devices
- Support emergency response operations during adverse weather or flooding events
Requirements
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Class 2 HGV licence
- Experience operating high-pressure jetting equipment or similar vehicles
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and the public
