Guidewire Migration Analyst

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business needs for data migration by working with stakeholders to understand data usage and processes
• Analyze source and target data to identify discrepancies, quality issues, and data integrity problems
• Create detailed data mapping specifications for transforming and transferring data from source to target systems
• Develop and contribute to data migration strategies, risk assessments, and quality testing plans
• Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and subject matter experts to ensure effective execution
• Maintain project documentation, including functional/technical specifications and test reports
• Communicate project status, risks, and progress to all relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Experience with Guidewire Policy Center and Guidewire Data Model relationships
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry
• Experience with data migration processes and ETL workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Policy Migration Tool (PMT)
• Familiarity with ETL processes using the IDMC tool
