Guidewire Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, customization, and deployment of Guidewire InsuranceSuite modules including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to development teams throughout the SDLC.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex Guidewire technical issues.
• Implement and enhance Guidewire functionalities such as Messaging (JMS), SOAP/REST Web Services, and Batch Processes.
• Coordinate integrations with external systems like rating engines, policy admin platforms, and document management.
• Mentor development teams and coordinate activities across onshore and offshore teams.
• Oversee unit testing, integration testing, and quality validation efforts to ensure compliance with business requirements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Deep expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter).
• Strong background in Java, API development, and integration frameworks.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Must be located in Mexico City, State of Mexico, or Guadalajara.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire Certifications (e.g., Ace ClaimCenter Configuration, Specialist PolicyCenter Configuration, or Integration Certifications).
• Experience with cloud integrations such as AWS.
• Prior experience in consulting or enterprise-level multi-system implementations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern development practices.
