Guidewire Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter
• Build and enhance workflows, specifically focusing on Billing integration
• Develop and consume web services using XML, messaging, and GxModel
• Implement batch processes, reusable integration modules, APIs, adapters, and plugin components
• Perform code reviews, testing (GUnit/JUnit), debugging, and deployments
• Manage code merges, environments, and support Guidewire upgrades
• Collaborate within Agile teams and support release management activities

Requirements

• Strong experience in Guidewire Integration Development
• Proficiency in Java and Gosu programming
• Solid knowledge of the Insurance domain (Policy, Claims, and Billing)
• Hands-on experience with J2EE, Web Services, XML, and RDBMS
• Experience with middleware tools such as MuleSoft, WebSphere ESB, or webMethods
• Familiarity with batch processing and messaging frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience across the full Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter)
• Exposure to both legacy and modern data systems
• Strong understanding of integration design patterns and scalable architecture
• Guidewire certifications
