About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise student Guest Service Assistants and oversee front desk and equipment check-out operations
- Enforce SRAC facility policies, procedures, and patron safety regulations
- Prepare concise log reports regarding events, staff issues, guest services, and equipment
- Assist with daily credit card transactions and end-of-day reconciliation
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating student staff
- Manage equipment inventory and assist with loss prevention
- Support promotional events, tabling, and summer orientation activities
- Communicate maintenance and custodial needs to appropriate personnel
Requirements
- Ability to supervise and lead student staff
- Strong communication skills for radio use and incident documentation
- Proficiency in handling financial transactions and reconciliation
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Capacity to respond to emergencies and enforce facility rules
