Guest Services Host/ess

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk and Guest services support for all Guests
• Answer main switchboard calls and appropriately route them
• Facilitate Guest requests and assist in the delivery of items to staterooms
• Provide Guest information and assistance regarding Island Operations
• Maintain a cash float of at least $2,500.00 USD, including cash handling and currency exchange
• Take action and follow through on all Guest issues
• Assist Guests through application-based channels, telephone, and in person
• Manage computer work associated with Guest transactions
• Provide internet and DCL App support, including one-on-one assistance with personal devices

Requirements

• Minimum one year front desk or guest services experience in a high-volume hotel, resort, or cruise ship within the last 5 years
• Proficiency in Microsoft Programs and front office computer software
• Comfort with new technologies, including smartphone applications and internet packages
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
• Ability to handle challenging situations and multiple tasks simultaneously
• Valid passport and ability to obtain a C1/D Seaman's visa
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal background check
